New Adventures

In a week I'll be setting sail on a new adventure.

For nearly 7 years I've been on the same journey - following the same channels, coasting the same horizons, walking the same beaches. I've been a part of the retail crew since I was 13 years old, and have been on this particular ship since 2009. The journey has been tumultuous, to say the least. I loved it for many years, but like most adventures, they eventually draw to a close. Now my time is ending and a new adventure awaits me when I reach the shore.

This week, I learned I could join the crew of WIN Television Sales and plot a course for my future career.

As you can imagine, I have many mixed feelings. I'm heartbroken to be leaving my Myer family. They are courageous souls who have weathered countless storms with me. But by the same token, I am excited to be casting aside my shackles of boredom and tackling the unknown (which is sure to be both challenging and rewarding).

The unknown can be terrifying... but it can also be exhilarating. I haven't desired change in a long time, but I'm finally ready for it.
